ACE Claims to Have Shut Down Cuevana3 Streaming Website

ace shuts down cuevana3

The Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE) has claimed to have shut down Cuevana3, the well-known Movie and TV Show streaming site that is highly popular in Latin America.

Over the past four years, Cuevana3 was the most visited website in LATAM with over 20 domains and 800 million site visits in 2 years.

This significant action by ACE is part of its mission to protect the legal market and combat digital piracy globally with partners including Disney, FOX, HBO, Netflix, and more.

In 2021, ACE seized Cuevana3’s previous domain, cuevana3.io, and the recent shutdown has seemingly put an end to Cuevana’s operation across all domains involved in the takedown.

ACE’s Head, Jan van Voorn, highlighted the joint efforts with authorities from LATAM countries to eliminate the largest Spanish-language piracy streamer, with a warning to other illegal services in the region and worldwide.

The official press release mentions that Cuevana3 domains now redirect to ACE’s “Watch Legally” page, although there are reports of active Cuevana3 websites without this redirection.

A screenshot provided shows one of these websites still accessible, indicating that either the redirects are pending or new domains claiming to be Cuevana3 are emerging.

Stay tuned for updates on this situation, and feel free to share your thoughts on ACE’s recent domain seizure in the comments!
