Here’s a guide to help you setup Chromecast and maximize its features.
To start, plug the Chromecast device into a power outlet and an HDMI port on your TV.
Once powered on, you’ll see the opening screen:
1. Select your preferred language
2. Android users or those with the Google Home app can easily set up by scanning the QR code and following the app instructions.
3. If you don’t have the Google Home App, select Set up on TV instead.
4. Pick your Wireless Network.
5. Enter your password if necessary.
6. Wait for the network to establish a connection.
7. Allow the system update to download.
8. The system update will then proceed with the installation.
9. Your device will then Restart
10. Click Accept
11. Choose I agree
12. Click Accept again to agree to terms of service
13. You can choose to sign up for Google emails or click No thanks
14. Click Continue
15. Select Allow
16. Choose your preferred apps
17. Click Confirm
18. We will now prepare the remote for use. Please click on “Set up remote”.
19. Please select the device you will use for sound.
20. Please choose your TV brand.
21. Please click on “Next”.
