Some popular devices include the Amazon Firestick and Fire TV, known for their affordability and capability to sideload applications. Sideloading applications is a common practice among cord-cutters to access free content and more, often known as “jailbreaking,” providing access to various streaming options not available to cable or satellite TV users.
