The well-known Downloader App is currently not available in the Google Play Store for Android TV Devices and Boxes. This is due to an absurd DMCA takedown request from Warner Brothers Discovery in India.
The Downloader App is used by millions of cord-cutters daily to sideload apps and APKs that are not available in their device’s respective app store.
Users attempting to install this application via the Google Play Store where it is usually located are no longer able to do so. When selecting the Downloader App via Google search, you are met with the following screen.
If you do a search for Downloader within the Google Play Store itself, you will notice it is no longer available. 
Why is Downloader Not Available in the Google Play Store?
Google has removed Downloader from the Google Play Store after a false DMCA request from Ishita Singh and MarkScan in India. MarkScan represents Warner Brothers Discovery and has submitted the takedown request with no grounds for removal. Google has obliged it without attempting to verify its legitimacy at all.
This is just another example of Google bending to the pressure of a ridiculous claim from a foreign country. In May of 2023, Downloader was removed for an absurd DMCA takedown request from Israel’s Yes TV stating that the app allowed users to access a website that infringes their copyright.
This resulted in the app being unavailable for 20 days which resulted in a loss of 47% of active users. You can help the developer of Downloader, Elias from AFTVNews, by retweeting the following tweet and letting Google Play know of the error it has made.

However, it was available for systems running Android TV/Google TV such as NVIDIA SHIELD, Chromecast with Google TV, BuzzTV, onn. Google TV Box, and more.

How to Install Downloader App on Android TV & Google TV – Screenshot Guide
1. From the home screen of your device, select apps and click the search bar.
2. Type jio.
3. Select JioSphere.
4. Click Install.
5. Wait for the app to download.
6. Click Open.
7. Click Accept.
8. Select Standard Mode.
15. Click the toggle to enable unknown sources for JioSphere.
16. Click Install.
17. If prompted, click Decline.
18. Click Open.
19. Select Allow.
20. Click OK.
21. You are now presented with the Downloader App home-screen.
