Just yesterday, the Tesla CEO shared a thought-provoking image on Twitter.
It seems to draw a comparison between Pirate Bay and mainstream streaming platforms.
Pirate Bay is widely considered the most popular torrent website today, boasting millions of visitors each month.

To illustrate his point, Musk used the “distracted boyfriend” meme. He suggests that streaming services are becoming too complex and expensive for the average consumer. It is a hassle to manage numerous accounts and their security features. Streaming entertainment should be simpler.

While we don’t know for sure if Musk uses Pirate Bay. It does seem like he’s not thrilled with the state of the streaming industry.
It would be great to have an all-in-one streaming service that’s affordable, user-friendly, and packed with great content. But given the current media landscape, that feels like a pipe dream. The dominance of media companies makes such an idea seem unlikely.
It’ll be interesting to see if any major streaming services respond to Musk’s comments.
