Google officially announced that they are releasing a new Chromecast Device. It’s going to be powered by a revamped operating system called Google TV.
During their virtual event on September 30th, Google released their new device. A highlight of the event was also the new Pixel 5.

Right here is one of the first official images of the new Chromecast Device with Google TV.
Upon first glance, it looks like this could be a real competitor to the Amazon Firestick 4K. That device came out back in 2018.
There really hasn’t been a device that can truly compete with the Firestick 4K since it was released. In terms of its price point, 4K compatibility, how easy it is to Jailbreak, and its overall specs, there’s been nothing comparable.
The new Chromecast Device with Google TV has 4.4GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. It supports 4K video, has a USB-C port, and other great features. It is listed at $49.99.
It has an Android TV Operating system. So it’s also pretty likely that users will be able to side-load Streaming APK’s onto these devices. This includes Kodi, IPTV, and other apps for a great streaming experience.

You can purchase one of two ways.
- Chromecast with Google TV is available by itself for $49.99
- You can also bundle Chromecast with Google TV and a 6-month Netflix subscription together for $89.99
Plus, you have three colors to choose from. The choices are Snow (white), Sunrise (pink), and Sky (light blue).
