Google and YouTube are actively Censoring IPTV Services, yet they continue to profit from advertisements related to these services. It’s a concerning situation that raises questions about their policies.
We’d love to hear your opinions on this matter. After reading this article, please share your thoughts in the comments section below. What are your views on Google’s decision to censor IPTV while simultaneously generating revenue from ads related to it?

Last week, I published an article discussing YouTube’s removal of my TROYPOINT videos. This prompted me to conduct further investigation, and what I discovered was quite alarming. it seems to be a case of double standards.
Initially, YouTube flagged my videos that focused on IPTV Smarters Pro and TiviMate. Ironically, both of these apps are readily available in the Google Play Store.
IPTV Smarters – Google Play Store
TiviMate – Google Play Store
However, the contradictory nature of Google’s actions regarding IPTV censorship doesn’t end there. It goes much deeper than that.
Google’s Actions: Censoring IPTV While Profiting from Ads
Each time I search for “IPTV” or other related keywords, I immediately see four advertisements displayed prominently at the top of the search results page.
Curious, I decided to check YouTube as well. I discovered the same pattern when I searched for terms related to IPTV. The platform displayed similar advertisements, suggesting a possible conflict of interest.
Upon closer examination of these advertised IPTV services, it became apparent that many of them lack proper verification. This is evident because they are not listed in reputable app stores like Amazon or Apple, raising concerns about their legitimacy.
Furthermore, it’s highly probable that these IPTV services do not possess the necessary licenses to broadcast the content they are promoting. This lack of licensing could potentially lead to legal issues down the line.
It seems implausible that a live TV service can legally offer over 30,000 live channels and VOD (Video on Demand) content for a price as low as $15 per month. Such pricing raises red flags about the legality and sustainability of their operations.
In the past, we have reported on cases where similar services encountered legal repercussions due to copyright infringement and other violations. The following examples illustrate the potential risks involved in operating unlicensed IPTV services.
- SmoothStreams IPTV Shut Down by ACE
- Nitro TV IPTV to Pay Over $100 Million in Piracy Lawsuit
- PrimeStreams IPTV Sued for Millions in Piracy Lawsuit
The most intriguing aspect of this situation is that when you reach the bottom of the Google search results page after searching for anything related to “IPTV,” you are likely to encounter a message. This message refers to the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) law and indicates the removal of certain results that potentially violate copyright regulations.
Clicking on the “DMCA complaint” link reveals hundreds of domains associated with IPTV services. These domains have been subjected to censorship by Google and subsequently removed from search results. This action raises questions about the consistency and transparency of Google’s censorship policies.
In essence, Google’s behavior appears to be contradictory. They are accepting substantial ad revenue from IPTV services while simultaneously censoring similar websites in their search results. This raises ethical concerns about their commitment to fair and unbiased practices.
Sadly, it’s anticipated that Google’s censorship of IPTV will only intensify in the future. As a consequence, the use of VPNs is expected to rise as a means to counteract the censorship imposed by major tech companies.
