HBO made an announcement earlier today. The popular HBO Max application is now available in the Amazon App Store. It can be installed on Firestick and Fire TV devices.
The launch of the app is scheduled for November 17th. You can find it on Fire TV, Fire TV Cube, Fire TV Smart Televisions and Fire Tablets.
HBO Max has a ton of great content. Enjoy HBO originals, documentaries and a whole lot more.

Currently, you have to side-load the application. This is necessary to use it on Firestick and Fire TV.
How To Install HBO Max on Firestick/Fire TV
However, this will no longer be necessary. HBO Max has been added to the Amazon App Store.
WarnerMedia’s Head of Sales & Distribution released a statement about the news:
We are thrilled that Amazon customers will now have access to the amazing content available on HBO Max.
Our ongoing mission is to offer HBO Max and its incredible programming to users on the platforms they prefer. Fire TV is a top choice among our audience, and we are eager to work alongside the Amazon team. Together, we can engage existing subscribers and expand our user base by showcasing all that HBO Max offers.
If you are currently an HBO Max customer, take note. You’ll need to uninstall your side-loaded version of the application. Then reinstall it through the Amazon App Store.
The current HBO app will be replaced by the HBO Max app. If you already have the HBO app, it should automatically update on your device.
There are other ways to install HBO Max if you prefer. If you are using an Android TV Box, NVIDIA SHIELD, Mi Box, or something similar, you can get it from the Google Play Store:
