How to Clear Cache on Firestick/Fire TV
In this guide, we’ll clear the cache on a Firestick. We’ll use the Downloader Application as an example.
Downloader is something millions of cord-cutters use. It’s used to install apps and APKs you can’t get from the Amazon App Store.
1. Start from your device’s home screen. Hover over Settings and select Applications.
2. Click Manage Installed Applications.
3. Look for the app you want to clear the cache for. Select it when you find it.
4. Scroll down and click clear cache.
5. You can also select clear data to fully reset your app. This refreshes the app you prefer.
6. Just click clear data once more.
