How to Download Movies & TV Shows on Firestick
Before we dive in, remember to install ES File Explorer and your favorite streaming app. You’ll need both for this to work.
1. Open your streaming app and find the search icon. It should be in the top right corner of the home screen.
2. Type in the title of the movie or TV show you’re looking for. It’s that easy!
3. Once you’ve found what you want, pick the streaming source you prefer. There are usually several options to choose from.
4. Scroll down a bit and click on “Open with…”
5. Select ES Downloader from the list. It’s the tool that will handle the download for you.
6. You’ll see the Download screen pop up. If you want to keep browsing while the file downloads in the background, just click “Hide.”
7. Head back to the home screen of your streaming device. Now, open ES File Explorer.
8. To locate your downloaded file, look at the left-hand menu in ES File Explorer. Scroll down until you see “Library” and give it a click.
9. Scroll down a little further and click on “Movies.” This is where you’ll find all your downloaded movies.
10. Find your movie file on the right side of the screen. Highlight it and press the OK button on your remote.
11. Once the download is finished, you’ll need to choose how you want to watch it. Select your preferred media player, and you are all set to enjoy your downloaded movie.

13. And that’s all there is to it. Your media file is fully downloaded. You can now stream it without any buffering.
