Unfortunately, Amazon Fire TV devices come with applications that we can’t disable or uninstall. Or, we receive a new Amazon update that includes a new application that we don’t want!
Luckily, there is a tool we can use that will allow you to block pre-installed apps from Amazon and more.
Debloat Tool will allow you to disable Amazon Bloatware and speed up your Firestick device for maximum performance.

The Debloat Tool will allow you to disable various apps and settings within your Firestick device that are unwanted or unneeded.
This is a fabulous way to remove device clutter and get the most out of these streaming devices.
The Amazon Firestick is the most popular streaming device today due to its low price point and “jailbreaking” abilities.
Users can install the Debloat Tool in just a few steps by following the guide below.
In this tutorial, we are using a Fire TV Stick 4K Max.
However, this tool will also work for any Firestick or Fire TV device including Firesick Lite, Fire TV Stick, and Fire TV Cube.
How to Install Debloat Tool by TDUK
1. Install the Downloader app from your respective App Store (Amazon App Store or Google Play) and enable Unknown Sources within the settings of your streaming device.
If you haven’t done this yet, please refer to the following screenshot tutorial for step-by-step instructions.

2. Launch Downloader
3. Hover over the URL bar and click the select button on your remote to open the keyboard.
4. Type the Downloader Code for the TROYPOINT ToolBox which is 250931 and click Go.
5. You will then encounter a redirect page.
6. This brings you to the TROYPOINT Toolbox home screen.
TROYPOINT Tip: Hold down on select button of remote for a few seconds and add TROYPOINT Toolbox as Favorite in Downloader App for easy access in the future. You can also add this page as a favorite by clicking hamburger menu in top-right-corner of the screen.
7. Scroll down to find Fire TV Debloat Tool and click Download.
8. Click Install.
9. You will then encounter TDUK Debloat Toolbox Ready to launch! message. Click Open.
10. The Debloat Toolbox application will launch, and you will land on the main screen.
11. You can now sort through various options to disable services and improve your Firestick device performance.
In our case, since we don’t use Prime Video, we checked the Prime Video options and clicked the Play icon on the top.
12. This message for Allow USB debugging will appear. Check the always allow box and click OK.
13. Now, to re-enable any commands, simply uncheck the boxes you want back and click the play icon.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We suggest NOT disabling any options for Amazon System Updates.
We suggest going through all options to disable any selections you do not use.
Debloat Toolbox Features & Important Details
As noted above, selecting to disable various services with the Debloat Toolbox is based on personal preference.
Make sure you are only disabling items that you do not need or use on your Firestick device.
To disable an app, simply click to check it, move up, and select the Play button.
If you mistakenly disable a service, you can easily re-enable it by unchecking it and clicking the Play button again.
