How to Install Aptoide TV
Step 1 – Prepare Firestick/Android TV/Google TV for Installation
1. Begin by navigating to the home screen of your device, hover over the Find button, and then click the Search box.
2. Search for and select Downloader.
3. Proceed to choose the Downloader app.
4. Click on Download or Get to proceed with the installation.
5. Await the completion of the app installation process.
6. Upon completion, you will see a message stating Downloader Ready to launch!.
7. Return to the home screen, hover over Settings, and navigate to My Fire TV to continue the installation process.
8. Select Developer Options to proceed with the installation as directed.
IMPORTANT: Please review the instructions below.If Developer Options are not visible on your screen, click on “Install unknown apps.” After that, locate the Downloader app and click on it. This action will activate Unknown Sources for the Downloader app and allow side-loading on your device.
Suppose you can’t find Developer Options in the settings. In that case, follow these steps to enable it for using the Downloader App: first, hover over the Settings icon and select “My Fire TV.” Then, click on “About.” If you notice Developer Options is missing, proceed by hovering over “Fire TV Stick” and pressing the OK button on your remote seven times to gain developer access. Finally, press the back button on your remote, and you should now see Developer Options within My Fire TV.
By properly setting up your Firestick, you can now move on to the next step, which is installing Aptoide TV. Begin by launching the Downloader Application and then selecting the URL Bar by hovering over it and pressing the select button on your remote. Type in the Downloader Code for the TROYPOINT Toolbox, which is “250931,” and then click Go.
4. You will then encounter a redirect page.
5. You are then met with the TROYPOINT Toolbox home screen.
6. Scroll down to find Aptoide TV and click Download.
7. Wait for Aptoide TV to download.
8. Click Install.
9. You will then encounter Aptoide TV Ready to launch message!
10. Click Done.
11. This will take you back to the Downloader application. Click Delete to remove the installation file.
12. Click Delete again.
Step 3 – Move Aptoide TV to Front of Apps List
After installation is complete, we will now show steps to move Aptoide TV to the front of our apps list for quick access.
1. From the home screen of your device, click and hold down the home button until the following screen appears. Click Apps.
2. Hover over Aptoide TV and click the menu button to move the app.
3. Choose Move.
4. Drag to the top of your apps list and drop it for quick access.
Step 4 – Enable Unknown Sources for Aptoide TV
In order to use the app, we must first enable Unknown Sources. This will allow us the ability to install apps with Aptoide TV.
1. Hover over Settings and click My Fire TV.
2. Choose Developer Options.
3. Click Install Unknown Apps.
4. Find Aptoide TV and click it.
5. You will then see Unknown Sources set to ON.
