In this report, I will be installing Cinema HD on the new Fire TV Stick 4K Max.

Step 1: Prepare Firestick/Android TV/Google TV
1. From the home screen of your device, hover over the Find button, and then click the Search box.
2. Search for and select Downloader.
3. Choose the Downloader app.
4. Click Download or Get.
5. Wait for the app to install.
6. You will then encounter a message that says Downloader Ready to launch!.
7. Return to the home screen, hover over Settings, and click My Fire TV.
8. Choose Developer Options.
IMPORTANT: If you do not see Developer Options on your screen, check the notes below.
9. Click Install unknown apps.
10. Find the Downloader app and click on it.
11. This action will enable Unknown Sources for the Downloader app and allow side-loading on your device.
Developer Options Not Available
If you cannot find the developer options in settings, follow the steps below to enable them for using the Downloader App.
1. Hover over the Settings icon and click My Fire TV.
2. Click About.
Note: Note that Developer Options are not visible.
3. Hover over Fire TV Stick and press the OK button on your remote 7 times to unlock developer options.
4. Click the back button on your remote. You will notice Developer Options is now showing within My Fire TV.
Now that I’ve properly prepared my Firestick, it’s time to move onto the next step.
Step 2: Install APKTime
1. Launch Downloader.
2. Hover over the URL Bar and click the select button on your remote.
3. Type the Downloader Code for the TROYPOINT Toolbox, which is 250931, and click Go.
4. You will then encounter a Redirect Page.
5. You are then met with the TROYPOINT Toolbox home screen.
6. Scroll down to find APKTime and click Download.
7. Click Install.
8. You will then encounter APKTime Ready to launch! message. Click Done.
9. Select Delete to remove the APKTime installation file.
10. Click DeleteAgain.
Step 3: Enable Unknown Sources for APKTime
1. Return to the home screen of your device and hover over Settings to select My Fire TV.
2. Choose Developer Options.
3. Click Install Unknown Apps.
4. Turn APKTime Unknown Sources to ON.
Step 4: Sideload Cinema HD APK on Firestick & Android TV/Google TV
1. Return to Your Apps and Launch APKTime APK.
2. Click the search button located in the upper right-hand corner.
3. Type Cinema and click Next.
4. Scroll down to find Cinema HD [Official] and click Download.
5. Click Install.
6. You will then encounter Cinema HD Ready to launch! message.
7. Click Open.
8. Click Accept.
9. Select OK to exit the Changelog.
Installation is now complete! However, as we note in the introductory paragraph, you must allow Cinema access to your device files. We provide instructions for this below.
Step 5: Allow Storage Permission
After launching Cinema, you are met with the following screen
You must allow storage permission in order to use the app as prompted in this message. We can easily do so within the settings of our device and provide instructions for Firestick and Android/Google TV below.
Firestick Users:
- Within the Settings menu, select Applications.
- Click Manage Installed Applications.
- Select Files and media.
- Click Allow all the time.
- Click allow again.
