Although there are several ad-free YouTube apps on different devices, many lack essential features for using this application including sign-in options. Notably, ReVanced is a recreation of the popular Vanced app that ceased operations in 2022, offering a similar experience.
ReVanced enables users to sign in to their YouTube accounts to access subscriptions, history, and more like the official app. This is facilitated by using an official YouTube application and “patching” it to eliminate ads with the ReVanced manager.
In addition to YouTube, ReVanced allows users to “patch” other popular apps such as Reddit, Twitter, TikTok, and others. However, YouTube ReVanced is the favored application in this sphere, which is why we provide installation instructions specifically for it.
This guide demonstrates how to deactivate the pre-installed YouTube app on your device, install a new YouTube APK, patch it with the ReVanced Manager, and then install the MicroG app for signing in to YouTube for personalized content.
It is important to remember that ReVanced is exclusively compatible with Android mobile devices and tablets. For users of streaming devices like the Amazon Firestick, Fire TV, or any Android TV/Google TV Box, we suggest utilizing the popular SmartTube application.
