How to Install YouTube TV on Firestick, Fire TV, and Fire TV Cube

This easy-to-follow guide is here to help. It will walk you through the process of installing YouTube TV on a variety of devices. This includes Firestick, Fire TV, and Fire TV Cube.

Important Note: YouTube TV hasn’t always been in the Amazon App Store. But there’s good news! Amazon recently shared an Article announcing that YouTube TV is now officially supported!

An Amazon employee who wrote the article shared a statement. He mentioned, “We appreciate your feedback. We’re thrilled to bring YouTube TV to our Fire TV customers in the US. This gives you even more options for enjoying live TV on Fire TV.”

The following steps demonstrate how to install YouTube TV on the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K. You can use these same steps on other devices too. This includes the NVIDIA SHIELD and other Android TV Boxes. These devices use the Android operating system, and YouTube TV can be found on the Google Play Store.

Follow the instructions below to get YouTube TV on your Firestick, Fire TV, or Fire TV Cube.

YouTube TV Firestick/Fire TV Installation Guide

Step 1 
Start on the Home screen. From there, move your cursor over to the Search icon Kodi Search Icon.

Step 2
Type in “YouTube TV”. You’ll see a search result appear. Scroll down and click on YouTube TV.

Enter “YouTube TV” then scroll down and click on YouTube TV when the search result appears.

Step 3 
The YouTube TV app will show up on your screen. Click on it. You might need to scroll to the right a bit to locate it.

Click on the YouTube TV app once it appears on your screen.

Step 4 
Click Download.

Click Download.

Step 5 
Give the application a moment to download and install.

Wait for the application to download.

Step 6
Grab your remote. Press the Back button Amazon Firestick Back Button. Keep pressing it until you’re back on the Home screen.

Then click the Back button  on your remote until you return to the Home screen.

Step 7
When you’re back on the Home screen, go to YouTube TV. Hold down the Options button Amazon Firestick Menu Button. Next, select Move.

Once on the Home screen, hover over YouTube TV and hold down the Options button . Then click Move.

Step 8
You’ll now be on the Your Apps & Channels screen. If you’d like, you can move YouTube TV to the front. Then, simply press the Select button.

Step 9
Keep clicking the Back button Amazon Firestick Back Button until you’re back at the Home screen. Then, select YouTube TV to open it up.

Click the Back button until you reach the Home screen. Then click on YouTube TV to launch the application.

Step 10
That’s it – YouTube TV is all set up! Now you can either kick off your free trial or log in to your account if you already have one.

YouTube TV is now successfully installed.
