What is WireGuard Protocol?
WireGuard Protocol is a VPN connection option. It’s open-source and designed to boost your overall internet connection.
This is different from other VPN Protocols like OpenVPN and IKEv2.

How to Enable WireGuard Protocol
If you’re already an IPVanish customer, you’ll need to enable WireGuard on your device to start using it. .
NOTE: You might need to uninstall and reinstall the IPVanish App if you can’t connect after enabling WireGuard.
We’re using a Fire TV Stick Lite as an example here. But don’t worry, these steps will work on any device with the IPVanish App installed.
1. Start by launching the IPVanish App. Then, open the Settings Menu.
2. Click on VPN Protocol.
3. Select WireGuard from the options.
And that’s all there is to it! WireGuard is now active and ready to use. Enjoy the enhanced experience.
