Audio
An assortment of E-AC3 related fixes were backported.
Estuary
A fix to the Music Viz screen has been made by @enen92 in an attempt to achieve perfection. Fixes were also made to the seekbar timer when seeking.
Game/Retroplayer
A fix was implemented to resolve a crash caused by memory exhaustion when using certain emulators.
General
Various fixes were made to enable building Kodi with GCC13.
Platform Specific
Android
A fix addressed a crash occurring when more than 100 jobs were scheduled for Android TV recommendation channels. For old Android devices that utilized both MediaTek and Google decoders for specific media, a preference was added to prioritize the Google decoder due to issues with MediaTek decoders playing audio in encrypted streams.
Linux
A PR was reverted to enable certain Linux setups to use the more generic library (GL) instead of the specific GLX library.
macOS/iOS
Resolved an issue with speech recognition not functioning.
Windows
Fixed HDR playback issues when Windows was already in HDR mode. Additionally, a fix was backported to prevent a potential deadlock for Xbox users when utilizing pixel shaders and SW decoding.
PVR
Fixed a crash related to saved search and an issue where the last opened group wasn’t always restored on Kodi startup.
Python
@garbear backported a fix for setting Picture and Game info via infotags, added GameInfo to the Player class for manipulating GameInfoTag data, and addressed an issue that specifically impacted Linux platforms: the search path for modules now correctly prioritizes Kodi-specific scripts/modules over system Python scripts/modules.
Video
Corrected the watched/unwatched status for items not added to the video library when creating playlists and fixed missing watched/unwatched status in the Playlist window.
