The Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE) has shut down yet another popular streaming website. Flixanity offered instant streaming of movies and TV shows through any web browser. This closure marks another victory for ACE in its fight against piracy.

ACE released a statement regarding the Flixanity website takeover. Here’s what they had to say:

Flixanity gained popularity as a streaming site that had been in operation since 2015. It operated through various domains. In recent years, the operation expanded. It started including several domains with names that mimicked popular pirate brands. This was a tactic to attract more visitors. Over the past year, traffic to Flixanity-connected sites increased significantly. There were 29 active domains connected to the service.”
