Netflix recently shared that they’re discontinuing service for some older streaming devices. This change officially began on December 1st, 2019. Netflix has a help article on their site to explain the compatibility issue.
The affected devices consist of older Samsung and Vizio smart TVs. This also includes first-generation Roku boxes. Samsung clarified that the change applies to “select 2010 and 2011 Samsung Smart TV Models sold in the U.S. and Canada.”
