This comprehensive Orion Setup Guide will provide you with all the necessary information regarding this service and instructions on how to set it up on your preferred app/addon.
We owe special thanks to a patron from our TROYPOINT Insider Forum for bringing this platform to our attention!
On its website, Orion is described as “an indexer and search engine for torrent, usenet, and hoster links,” providing a source for discovering and selecting the best links available for streaming services.
Similar to other provider packages, users can install Orion on apps like Seren, Syncler, and more.
Once integrated, you’ll notice a significant improvement in link retrieval speed with Orion.
This platform collaborates with various apps and addons to deliver high-quality streaming links on your favorite devices, including popular media devices like the Amazon Firestick.
Many users acquire a Firestick or Fire TV with the intention of “jailbreaking” it for access to extensive streaming content.

Orion provides both paid subscription options and a free plan, but signing up is necessary for either choice.
By integrating your account within your preferred app or addon, you’ll gain access to a wide array of streaming links you may not typically come across.
Most compatible apps will require a real-debrid account, which many cord-cutters already utilize.
In the guide below, we will walk you through setting up Orion within the Stremio application as well as the popular Kodi addon Seren.
However, these are not the only options that work with this service.
If you don’t have a real-debrid account, the Elementum addon with Orion can be used to find high-quality streaming links.
Instructions for this addon can be found at the end of this tutorial.
What is Orion?
Orion operates similarly to real-debrid but doesn’t require any purchase as it is completely free to use.
NOTE: If you don’t have a real-debrid account, refer to our guide below to learn all about this service.
Instead of hosting or distributing files, Orion collaborates with premium hosters like Real-Debrid to discover more links for streaming.
You can read the full description on the official website below:
Currently, there are six subscription options, including the free plan:
- Free
- Novice ($0.50/month)
- Beginner ($1.00/month)
- Advanced ($2.00/month)
- Expert ($3.00/month)
- Unlimited ($199/lifetime)

IMPORTANT: Orion’s subscription options are based on the number of links it provides after selecting a movie or TV show.
You can adjust this setting within each app/addon’s preferences, which are detailed in our instructions below.
With the Free Orion Plan, you are limited to 100 “Link Retrievals” per day. This means it retrieves up to 100 links daily, not allowing you to select 100 links per day.
Often, Orion can retrieve 100 or more links for just one title, quickly reaching your link limit after choosing a single movie or TV show.
Follow each step in our instruction guide below, showing you how to modify your link retrieval settings to maximize this service’s potential.
Upon selecting a subscription plan, you can integrate your account into your preferred service.
Many Streaming Apps and Kodi Addons are compatible with Orion, including:
