ViacomCBS has officially announced that they’re launching a brand-new streaming service. It’s called Paramount Plus.
The well-known CBS All Access platform is getting a makeover. It will become Paramount Plus, complete with new features and more content.
Included in the new offerings will be live events. There will also be shows from popular networks like MTV, BET, Comedy Central, Paramount, and others.
Paramount+ is scheduled to launch on March 4, 2021. This launch will be in the US, Latin America, and Canada.
Those in the Nordics can look forward to the platform’s arrival on March 25th.
Paramount Plus is the latest entry in the ever-growing world of streaming services. We’ve recently seen companies like Discovery and Disney launch similar “Plus” services. These provide On-demand content and much more.
CBS All Access is very popular already. It features live streaming of over 150 local networks, and this new service will build on that success.
Users can expect a lot of programming to choose from, in addition to the live events. Over 30,000 titles will be available.
Right now, there’s no news on which devices will be compatible with Paramount Plus. However, CBS All Access is widely available. You can find it in places like Google Play, Amazon, iOS, and others.
So, it’s reasonable to anticipate the new app being available on popular streaming devices. Think Firestick and Roku.
