Where have all the TROYPOINT YouTube videos gone? You might have noticed they’ve been taken down if you visited the official TROYPOINT YouTube channel lately.
I made the decision to remove them myself.
Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been battling with YouTube over my videos being removed. Each time this occurs, I get a strike against my account. When you get three strikes, they delete your channel for good.
I was already at two strikes. I didn’t want to risk losing my entire channel, so I took down all my videos. I’ll wait for the strikes to go away then start adding videos again.
The videos that received strikes were How to Install Wolf Launcher and How to Install APKs on Android without Google Play Store. YouTube also took down How to Install Peacock App on Firestick and How to Speed Up Firestick with 4 Simple Tricks.
According to YouTube, these videos are against their Harmful and Dangerous Policy.
Harmful and dangerous? Really?
Their website lists the following categories for video content to be considered harmful and dangerous.
- Extremely dangerous challenges
- Dangerous or threatening pranks
- Instructions to kill or harm
- Hard drug use or creation
- Eating Disorders
- Violent Events
- Instructional theft or cheating
- Hacking
- Bypassing payment for digital content or services
My videos don’t fall into any of these categories. But it’s clear they’re being flagged as “Bypassing payment for digital content or services.”
The definition for Bypassing payment for digital content or services is as follows.
Showing viewers how to use apps, websites, or other information technology to gain unauthorized access to audio content, audiovisual content, full video games, software, or streaming services that normally require payment.
None of the videos showed how to get free movies, TV shows, video games, software, or streaming services. They didn’t even include examples of apps offering free content.
There are tons of videos on YouTube already about how to install Wolf Launcher on a Firestick, and none of them have been flagged.
How to Install Peacock on Firestick? But Peacock is a totally legal streaming app!
And how is speeding up your Firestick by adjusting some system settings harmful or dangerous?
Here’s the last message I received from YouTube after explaining all of this to them.

Hi Troy,
Thanks for your reply.
I get that you’re having this issue, and I can imagine how annoying it must be. I know this isn’t what you wanted to hear, but our team has thoroughly investigated this matter. We’ve looked at every detail. As I mentioned before, your video was reviewed and correctly taken down because it goes against our Harmful or dangerous content policies.
We appreciate our partners and creators who provide feedback, and we thank you for the information. We can’t manually check other videos on YouTube without permission from the uploader, unfortunately. But if you think these videos shouldn’t be on YouTube, you can report them.
Please understand that we don’t enjoy taking down videos or rejecting appeals. But we have to ensure YouTube remains a safe and positive platform for everyone.
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation. Feel free to ask if you have more questions.
YouTube Relies on Creators and Partners to Police Videos
It’s unbelievable that my videos can be taken down just because a competitor flagged them as Harmful/Dangerous. Or maybe their “Partners” can tell them to do whatever they want.
Yes, you can appeal strikes, and I did. But I got a reply within minutes. This makes me think no one even looked at the appeal, they just sent an automated response.
Basically, there’s no real way to appeal when your videos get removed.
Moving Forward
If you’re trying to find a video that used to be on my YouTube channel, just use the search bar in the menu above.
I’ve moved most of the videos to my private server. They are now embedded on the TROYPOINT website, so you can still watch them.
If you notice a missing video, please leave a comment below, and I’ll try to add it quickly.
I’ll be back on YouTube adding new videos after my strikes expire.
I also highly recommend signing up for TROYPOINT Advisor and TROYPOINT Insider (they’re both free).

I’ll continue creating videos during this “YouTube downtime.” I’ll embed them on the TROYPOINT website and let you know about new tutorials through the TROYPOINT Advisor and Insider.
Thanks for your support of TROYPOINT!
