Windows 11 will let you install Android Apps. This will be possible through a process called sideloading, according to the company’s announcement.
Last week’s Microsoft Windows Event revealed specifics. These details were about the latest Windows update and its new features.

One of these features is the ability to use Android Apps on your PC. You’ll be able to do this via the Windows Subsystem for Android.
To make it easier to install Android Apps, Windows made a deal with Amazon. They agreed to bring the Amazon App Store to Windows 11.
Millions of people already use the Amazon App Store. It comes standard on all Firestick and Fire TV devices.

This new feature will give Windows users access to a ton of different apps. Many of these apps weren’t available before.

Palanidaran Chidambaram had something to say about this advancement. He’s the Director of the Amazon Appstore and Cross-Screen Technology.
We offer a wide selection of mobile apps in our Amazon Appstore. These are available across Fire TV, Fire Tablets, and Android devices. Our customers use and enjoy them every day. With this announcement, Amazon Appstore developers will have the chance to make their apps available to hundreds of millions of Windows customers.
This is great news for Windows users, of course. But it’s worth mentioning that some very popular apps are missing from the Amazon App Store.
Luckily, you’ll be able to sideload apps with the latest version of Windows. You’ll even be able to sideload APK’s for use on compatible devices.
Millions of people use this process to Jailbreak a Firestick or Fire TV.
This allows users to install hundreds of apps that aren’t available in the Amazon App Store.
It’s not clear exactly when this upgrade will be available. However, Microsoft did say we can expect it sometime later this year.
Currently, Windows users can use the popular Bluestacks application to run Android Apps.
